Hi Guys & Gals,
Fordmods has got to the stage where we are looking at volunteers to become a Fordmods Coder. Basically this would entail an enthusiastic person with a few spare hours a week that have experience with PHP and MySQL (Experience with modifying phpBB2 a bonus) to work with the admin on the site to code some new developments to roll out onto fordmods.
Anyone that is interested in volunteering there time to help Fordmods grow bigger and better please PM me with your experience and just a rough run down.
Regards
Neo_nick

I'd just like to add that you'll obviously need HTML and CSS experience also.

We're not paying anything. If I can do what I've done for the last 4 years at no cost, I'm sure others can lend a hand here and there icon_smile.gif

All coding and testing will be done in a development environment, preferably your own icon_smile.gif

No worries. i have test boxes at home and work. and dedicated server too.

so theres no problems with outside environment testing.
question. you mentioned that there might be mods to the phpbb. would we be supplied with database setup. I am assumeing that there has already been mods to it.

Yeah, the copy of phpBB2 we're running now has been chopped up pretty hard.

We would possibly hand out DB schemas if required. Shouldn't really need it if the project spec is accurate.
