As per the title, need someone who's fitted the Fairlane cluster and is running a low or mid series EF/EL BEM. I've checked out a low series and the Fairlane cluster circuit boards, and figured out where the resistor goes.
The good news is you don't need to dismantle the cluster, you just solder the resistor between two wires - the job itself bar removing the dash surround should take 15 mins.
If this is successful, Vic's doco can be updated.
Post back if you're interested, and I'll give you all the details, plus the background info.
EDIT: I can't test this myself as the board is stuffed - wreckers gave it to me for free  |
