Has anyone been to this yet??

If you haven't then get down its just unreal, it's all indoor undercover so no worries about being rained out. They're gaining some real momentum with even some old school muscle cars on the rollers tonight.

FPV made an appearance with the DRIF6 which I think is going to be a regular thing, their are a heap of charged Gen3's including the PWR burnout car. Quite a few stockies have also made the effort proving you don't have to be the fastest or the tuffest to race.

This week and next are still free to view but they will have to start charging a small cover charge for spectating in a few weeks time so at least get down and have a look.

The BIG news though is that they are doing a 2 for 1 deal at the moment for a limited period, this means that for about $250 each you and a mate can get your cars fitted with the brackets and you can start racing against your mates. Best of all though is that if you get in now while they are still holding demo nights you can race for free for the next few weeks, thats a return on your investment straight away.

Demo nights are every Wednesday and Thursday night from about 7pm and like I said this week and next are still free to spectate so be quick, you can even jump in one of the demo cars and feel it for yourself, no risk of crashing your car either lol

*cough*arm*cough*

$250?
I can spend alot less then that just going to Heathcote or Calder.
I don't really get the whole concept of dragging on a dyno, I don't see the fun in it.
It's no different to playing a computer game.

I agree with Steady ED I would rather run down the strip or race around the track. Cars weren’t meant to be driven inside let a loan raced, I can understand that it’s cool but then again so is Timezone!

$250 is too much ye

But you will go and spend at least that on a helmet

After all the burnouts your tyres, another $300

It starts to rain at Calder at about 9pm, no rainchecks from this point $55

You sit their waiting for what seems likes hours for all the turbo cars to stage, I thought you peid to race, best check they didn't give you a spectator ticket , time and money

The list goes on, I think before you knock it as so many before you have, it might be an idea to go and have a look, as I said if you're worried about money, kepp this between just us ye but its free this coming Wednesday and Thursday to spectate.

I personally have not yet met any person who has been with anything negative to say, even last night I took down someone that many of you here know of and some of you know personally, he is a serious drag racer with a 9 second car and guess what, he loved it and wants in on the thing.

You don't have to race, you can just go to watch when it all gets up and running fully, all this is doing is giving people an alternative to the norm.

And yes XR8CHIK is their most weeks from wehat I have seen, I think she's hooked lol

Whats done about cooling?
Isn't it a bit of a worry simulating a car on a racetrack on a dyno?
That pic on their website didn't seem to show any cooling fans??
