|
|
I use Austalian Export Tyre Shine on the airbox and intake runners and pretty much everything plastic under the bonnet (removing them first) and it came up awesome. All the plastics came up with a permanent 'wet look'. I recommend it. I washed the parts first and dried them and then did exactly what was written on the spraycan and it come up like showroom.
Only thing is you may get a smell after you run the car and it warms up. But it goes away.
Top work!
Merry Christmas |

Thats an excellent idea, I reckon I'll be giving it a go on my car. That Australian Export spray stuff is pretty cheap from memory (only a few bucks a can)......Is it in a blue or purple can?
I've been using Armoral in the past only to find it fade within a day or two. |

Australian export is in the blue can and I havent found it attracts dust.
Looks good.
Be careful it might want to make you detail the whole engine bay. |

Rapier I can only see half of your pics in the galleries. Same with everyones. The very top bit of the engine bay I can see. Big improvement. |

| Iv used that stuff before but found dust and drit can easly stick the plastic plus if somone touches it you have finger marks all over it. Just clean plastic looks best or painted even better. |

| Yeah dust tends to stick, but just give it a wipe over after a day or so and it will stay fine, it only sticks after the initial application. |

Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel from the USA
Use it on tyres, rubber seals, engine bay plastics (doing tomorrow night) and even interior plastic.
Withstands the heat from engine and 1,000 kilometres of driving to hamilton, horsham and back home. |
