the crank angle sensor is located just behind the harmonic balancer pulley on ALL cars ( with coil pack setup ) . You will see a wire/connector just behind the pulley, the pulley needs to be removed the replace the sensor.

Common symptoms include
rough idle ( intermittent or otherwise )
failure to start when hot ( pour cool water on it and she'll start )
may cut out when warm

i remember from fordmods ver1 that some people had this problem try cleaning the ics and the tb reset the base idle and see how you go.

when the computers are on the way out they do this 2 dont they???

what should an intake manifold gasket cost cause i can hear air leaking from it.

I just had a similar problwm with mine, replaced the old motorcraft leads with a set of new bosch leads, and it's chugging along nicely now. icon_smile.gif
