Hi,

I have just installed these LED's which i purchased today for $1.60 each. They came out great. They require no soldering and can be purchased from most Auto Shops. Here is a link to have a look which colours are avaiable.

http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_5.html

These models fit the EF/EL clusters:

47900 12V White
L.E.D B8.5d
White 40

47902 12V Blue
L.E.D B8.5d
Blue

47904 12V Red
L.E.D B8.5d
Red

I brought #47900 for my EL as the Orange sticks won't glow if i use Blue so i used white.

I got them from R & E Auto in Heidelberg.

Repco sells em they just need to be ordered.
Same applies for Autobarn.
The are also much cheaper than doing the LED mod as the LED at Jaycar are far to expensive .

THe blubs use the same holder and nearly same in size and run on 12 V and 2 W

They are not the brightest LED's, but they look much better than the stock milky yellow blubs and have the right amount of light to display the digits clearly. They are well worth 1.60 each which i payed for them and no complaints here from me. I put an LED behind the Odometer but it doesn't light it up much as the normal blub, but i still installed it there as LED life is much longer and it is still readable. i'll take a picture tonight and post it up.
