| hey guys, not sure if this topic was just covered or not but anyway i have an auto ebxr8 which on a couple of occassions recently has not clicked into gear when accelerating out of a corner. it revs as thou in neutral before changing into gear a few moments later. by the way my car was still cold on these occassions, im not sure if that will have anything to do with it but it cant hurt to mention it...does anyone know what this problem might be, if anything at all, and what can i do to fix the problem??? cheers guys. |

I don't want to be captain obvious here, but it sounds like you are lacking tranny fluid in your transmission... its either that, or you need to adjust your bands...
Have you checked your fluid levels?

I wasn't been rude, I thought that you checked it, but just in case I mentioned it, sorry to sound rude.

| mine does it sometimes too. io had the fluid flushed and renewed, still does it. not all the time, just every now and again. gonna take it to a tranny shop soon i guess.. though would be good if anyone else had a similar problem fixed. dont wanna get " yeah mate, you need a new box, yours is f**k " .. sure that or a $65 selector switch.... |
