| i managed to get some cs-2297 response splits (see page 244 in the 2004 jaycar catalogue, not listed online anymore) into my eb series 1 & these have a 67mm mount depth compared to 66mm for the cs-2298 you want to fit. oh, & my eb1 had 4inch holes that i had to cut. i used ed futura door trims for the 6 inch grille they have. the magnet misses the window by about 5mm and they don't foul the door trims either. i'm tippin they'll fit. |

| I had created a thread about this in FM v1.. Now I can not remember exactly how deep you can go, but iirc you can fit at least 60mm, it may have gone as far as 70mm but I have completely forgotten. Boston Pro's will fit in EF/EL doors with the spacer. |
