Have had a quick check on the site but could find this info.
Has anyone tested the current that the windows use when activated?
I have been playing with a circuit for the windows but have not put the multimeter on to the lines yet. |

THe currents depend on the condition of the window rubbers, as well as the condition of the motors, and pulleys...
Around 5Amps for Brand New, with no load.
7.5Amps seems to be roughly the average
10-12Amps if the winder is struggling.
There is a 40Amp Circuit Breaker in the EF/EL/AU models for the power windows. It takes a fair bit to blow that thing. |
