Hey all ..
Just wondering, if there is any difference between the EB2/ED - EF/EL cams.
I've heard that the stock EF cam is almost the same as a ED XR6 cam ..
anyone else know anything about this? |

Don't know for sure, but yeah I beleive, as the years went by the cams got better.
I don't know if it was a simple as - we'll know we'll put the XR6 cam in the GLi/Futura, and make a new cam for the XRs. |

I did a quick search and came across this:

| Quote: | Camshaft:
The EF's camshaft now more closely resembled that of the ED XR6 but with a slightly smoother ramp - something to remember when rebuilding an earlier motor and looking for a budget camshaft option. |
