well i went out last wed, and everyone i know running out there posted pb's, should have gone fella's...
if anyone is interested, my mates vy ute ran 12.189@111mph and another mates vt super 6 ran 12.006@109, not bad for holdens. |

its not looking like Ill be heading out anymore unfortunately.... my clutch is doing strange things (getting stuck down at high revs)... so Im gonna rip it out and run over it.
So unless I get around to it tomorrow I won't be making it.... which is unfortunate, I was really looking forward to it...

Ok I am going to let the cat out of the bag. I am aiming for the 5th July if it does not rain.Me and JonBays believe that the cold weather should give us a better pb. We both ran in 32 degree heat and 55 degree track temperature in the middle of sunmmer. Hopefully if it is not overcrowded and the rain stops well get out and try it. Being married with kids night time racing is generally off limits to us so we are gonna do our best.
We are like mythbusters me and Jon. Lets see how much difference cold weather makes. The only mod Ive had is a second hand replcement gearbox for my blown one. |
