e-series & x-series are interchangable.
I couldent imagine why you couldent fit 9" wide treads under the a** of it. |

| if you have 7 inch rims on, you are going to start rubbing the rubber on the front arches when you turn. A little bit of a roll on the arch is a help. I was running 7 inch with 225 on the front, and that required the arches to be rolled at the front. How wide do you want to go?? |

X and E series wheels are not quite interchangable.
E series wheels will fit on an X series, but the XY wheels (assume all X series?) will not fit on an EA, as the centre hole is too small on the XY wheels.
My 12 slots fitted my XY, XF and EA, can't remember if I ever tried to put the XY wheels on the XF.
Dang. |

not sure you can put 9" wheels on the rear due to leaf spring clearance.
You can put EA-EL wheels on a X series, but not vice versa. bearings on the E series is bigger.
I have 14X7 inch on front and 14X8 inch on rear with 245 rubber on front and 265 rubber on rear.
Car is low and front guards need to be curled and flared slighty to make room for the 245s.
also had the centres of the 14X7 moved to create a deeper dish and give top ball joint clearance, <10mm with no weight on them |

I don't think that is exact as some factory 12 slotters XA GT etc have smaller centre, but I do think it was changed in either XA or XB. |
