Hi all,
Before the server drama on Fordmods there was a discussion on the ways each of these two companies go about getting their power out of the Ford 6 engine: for example one company worked on say headwork vs another on the bottom end or something like that.
What the exact answer to this was I can't remember. Or am I wrong and do they both do the same stuff to get the figures they say ? I have sfa mechanical knowledge so any help on this would be appreciated. |

none of JMM's kits involve any bottom end work, so from that you could establish that all of their 'claimed' power is made from head work.
It's Performance does a combination of head and bottom end work, usually including a full bottom end rebuild, to ensure that your bottom end is up to the job of pushing the big figures.
I'm the proud owner of a JMM Dev5a kit, plus a very fancy bottom end rebuild from It's Performance in my EF Wagon.
JMM offers bottom end rebuilds for an additional ~$2700.

| What kind of power figures are you making waggin and approximatley how much did each of the builds cost. It sounds like a very good and comprehensive package, but best of sounds like it is built to last. |
