I had the same problem, however i couldn't lock the car, and if i did, it would just unlock itself in the middle of the night and turn the lights on. I took it to ford under warranty nd they said it was the wiring behind the dash. Maybe just make sure there are no short circuits anywhere???

good luck,
Matt

pull the interior fuse next time! icon_smile.gif

umm yes sounds like a wiring problem in that circut as fakertaker has suggested the au lights should autodim after 15 seconds i think
maybe the BEM is at fault

well i guess it could be a faulty bem or maybe a door switch constantly earthed, or maybe the interior light switch is on! icon_lol.gif

I'd be looking at all the door switched...sounds like one of them may be rooted. Thats the easiest thing I guess.

Yeah I have left my the interior light switch on the headlight panel on a few times. It was OK in the morning though when I realised what I had done. Freaks you out at first as you tend to think someone has broken in to your car somehow.
