would you need to roll the gaurds on an au to fit 18" X 8.5" wheels if it is fitted with superlows.
if so how much does it cost, and what is done |

rolling the guards is were the inner lip of the gaurd is rolled up and made to sit flush with the inside of the guard,
when u can have a look at the lip b4 you get it rolled adn u can see what gets rolled |

| I have an EF with superlows and 18X8's it never rubs, had the same wheels on an ED and they rubbed, so not sure about an AU. |

I have an AU with 18X8.5 and Lows, on the way up from Melbourne hit what I would have said was a small pot hole and it has caught the left hand guard and pulled it out so I would strongly suggest you get it done.

the TE-50 is designed for 18's though, so ford would have mucked up if they'd released a car which scraped the guards from the factory... |

lol nit-picking there frank aren't we?!?! regardless, tickford (ther ford performance arm) would have looked pretty stupid releasing a car which did not have the camber or whatever to stop it from cutting into those expensive tyres that it comes fitted with! |

guard rolling prices vary from place to place, but i believe most work from around $55 per guard, but be aware many will not give warrenty against split paint. Panel shops will charge the same, but charge extra if paint cracks.
Hope this helps. |
