I just sourced some from a guy in QLD. Relatively cheap and very prompt service.
Speak to Paul at A1 Nerang Autocare. 07 55966333
Some of our cane toad members might know of the place.
He does EB-EL complete reg/motor kits for front doors. Price is $115 to $140 depending on shipping.
Rear does he only does repair kits - wire trace, plastic guides etc for about $50
Much cheaper than new from Ford (Last quote I got was $275ea). They are non genuine parts but he is happy with their quality.

| The regs on the way out when the window gets very slow/struggles to pull the window up right? I've been told its the reg, and not to use the window, that was about a month ago, window has its moments, he also quoted me over $300 to fix it :/ |

that can just be from a lack of lubrication. Try lubricating the windows with some graphite powder (or tyre shine is a dodgy alternative that gets used on used cars sometimes) and see if that improoves it...
thats also the #1 cause of regulator failure in near new cars |

I was looking at new reg/ motor as well.. my passenger front window was leaning forward on the way up.
$18 for 808 Silicon Spray from Dlck Smith.. a good squirt at the bottom of the window frames and all is smooth/ fast & no more grabbing / leaning.
I'll see how that goes before I go for a new reg.
Apparently the Nulon and CRC silicon sprays have thinners in them and arent as good as the 808 without thinners. |
