Im sure I've heard that the AU IRS Rear is a straight
swap (same Body mounting points) onto an EF/EL body...
I can only assume that the solid axle would also be a straight swap |

| If the fitment points are the same and you bolt in the complete assembly you will have to run AU wheels on the back I would think. Completely different offset. |

Au diff is wider than the EL so you will need to run the Au offset wheels or if you got 10mm machined of the inside of e series wheels they will fit also. you will have to stuff around with some handbrake mounts and the brake lines as the AU brake lines run from the body to each caliper unlike the e sreies that run accross the axle tubes.you will need to make up a brake line.
the AU IRS will not bolt straight in. i have fitted a AU irs into a EB
you need to cut all the mounts for the watts link from the body and
cut into the top of the chassie to put the mounts in. its not to hard a job for someone with a engineering mind. if anyony wants to give it a go let me know and i will give you some pointers. |

| dave...... i dont think anyone has drawn any connection to your wanting to fit an AU live axle to a EL (and not caring about the offset issues) and you wanting to find an AWD territory....... |
