| I wouldn't wind it back...lol, big fines, even if tehre's any sign of it... also, thats why lower KM clusters are more expensive...and im sure that kind of information no one would be willing to give, cos other people would wind it back, and sell their car as ONLY DONE 98,000 KMs! and its an EA. |

| hmm well my car has done very low kays for its age. and i got this cluster in mind of replaceing the standard one. I remember in fm version 1 there was a guy that lives in newcastle that had the same thing that i did and he signed a stat deck to prove that the car has done that amount of kms. failiong that im gunna take it apart and have a fiddle. i got the cluster cheap enough anyways if i fuk it up. |

| Im just saying that most probably no one on here will be able to help you with winding it back. Both parties could get in trouble. But good luck with it... If you got rego papers that state you K's done, that would be accepted by the buyer im sure |

hah
winding it back
pull the front faces off, and wind it back :p
as for the part number, no idea, but just ring ford and say you want an oil sender unit, not a switch, about $50 from memory.
ive got one, like a year ago, still hvent installed it yet tho :p |

hey guys
Did the swap last week, guy at ford here quoted me $90 bucks for the oil pressure sender. i said i would be back later on. Got one from the auto parts shop down the road for $40. Was a genuine ford part too.. so shop around. Alot of the small independant auto parts places over here stock heaps of genuine ford part for good prices.
cheers lads |

NAMIISS gauge & control,
1/36 Forbes St Carrington, 2294
4961 1988
4961 2438 (fax)
I didn't have to do the stat dec cause they seen my original cluster (I got them to swap it at the same time). I think it was just to cover there a***.
If you haven't got a oil presure switch ($60?) make sure you get one too.
The mid series clusters look 100% better than the GLi one's IMO |
