Hi,
Can anyone recommend someone in the Mornington/Frankston (vic) area to install a wade 1604 cam in my EL...
My normal mechanic said he could do it... but he didn’t sound confident to me, and he hadn’t heard of wade cams 
I don’t mind travelling further towards melb… but mornington/hastings/frankston is closer to work.
I currently have PH4480, 2.5” mandrel bent exhaust, hight flow cat, K&N panel filter and AU T series intake.

edit... another (basically stupid) question, how much it this going to kill my fuel economy? Obviously the harder I drive it the more it will suck the juice... but has anyone got a similar setup and have some before and after figures for me? I get about 600kms to a tank now.  |

f**k fuel economy ,, it fangs!!! ,,, well makes a big diff .. i got the 1004-112
not too bad anyway,, the cam lift the rev range so ya can rev it out., but you wont notice it at low revs if ya wanna go gramma driving. |

go to mornington car care, its down progress street off tyabb road, I got mine installed their, I got a 1004-14 spec cam put in, should have cost around $100 but ended up close to $400 cause my lifters were found to be f**k after removal of the rocker gear 
john did a really good job, when it was installed the idle was s**t so he rang wade for me and they gave him the word on it and yeah, all up pretty good.
Edit: Now after I have done a bit to the motor i can still get 500-550 kms to a tank on economy, it all depends how u drive it, if i drive it on power mode ill be lucky to get 400 to a tank. |
