how would i be able to tell if my car has been lowered icon_question.gif

i compared it to another stock ea and mine seemed a bit lower all way round, what should i look for to be able to tell icon_question.gif .

also when i decelerate from speeds above 70 it seems to surge between 75 and 70 klm's,the tachometre will show a flare in revs and it feels likes it' free wheeling for a few seconds then all is fine,,ecu has been replaced, could it be the tcm icon_question.gif

Get under there and have a look at the springs, usually easy to tell - i.e. king springs are yellow, pedders are... red, i think. Not an exact science but may be a dead giveaway.

How much lower than the other EA? If its around an inch or more then chances are it has been lowered. Otherwise may be saggin springs.

Re gears, almost sounds like lock up torque converter doing its thing. Is the box serviced regularly? Hows the fluid?

easy answere here, the gap between the tyre and the guard should be the same all the way around, if its not, its not stock.

How do you come to that conclusion?

What if there are wider tyres on the back with the same profile? That will throw that theory out straight away

And what if you lowered the car with a full set of NEW lowered springs, they will all sit at the same height.

What if its stock, with 1 sagging spring?

Hmm icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah converter only locks under steady throttle. Step on it or off it and it will unlock immediately.
