Hey guys.

Im buying a trickflow kit soon, here's what it contains:

TFS-51400002 - Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads, pair
TFS-51500001 - 5.0L Track Heat Intake Manifold, set
TFS-51402000 - Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, each
TFS-51400510 - Roller Rocker Arms, set of 16
TFS-21406700 - Pushrods, set of 16
SUM-G6620 - Roller Timing Chain Set, each
TFS-51400904 - Gasket Kit, each
TFS-51400801 - Silver Valve Covers, pair

But am just wondering whether or not there is anything else that i will need to install the kit on my el xr8 that is not included in the kit?

You will still need a matching throttle body & EGR spacer (nice 70mm peice like an Accufab or BBK), timing case cover gasket and the EGR stud kit - (just from looking at the pictures of the kit). If you car has some K's on it I was also look at a new set of Ford Racing roller lifters (yours has only 80k on it hasn't it?).
The kit also contains head bolts (the factory ones are torque to yeild and are supposed to be thrown away )

Jeebus!!
How much will all that set me back now?
Ie, for the T/B, EGR spacer, EGR stud kit, timing cover gasket, FR roller lifters?

Yeh the car only has 80ks, but i might as well replace the lifters while im there anyway!

You shouldn't need new lifters on yours because of your low kms - but the Ford Racing roller lifters are US$110
The single timing case gasket is left out of the trickflow kit picture for some strange reason - but shouldn't be more than $20
You can run with your standard throttle body for a while - but to get the best use a BBK will cost you around $550 (US$240 + import and freight) - the Accufab will be a little more (US$257+ import and freight) but is fully polished to show standards.

So it shouldnt be too much over 5 grand then, thats alright i spose.
I dont see why the timing case gasket wouldnt be included seeing that they include a roller timing chain set? Who knows..

Who could i import a BBK or Accufab throttle body from? And what size would you recommend?

Cheers.

At the current rate, it'll cost around $4400 landed in oz. Yeah they do only cost around half the price in the US, but with shipping and import taxes & s**t.. It equates to over double the price!
