Its a peice a piss to do, probably one of the best things to get would be a workshop manual if you dont allready have one. As for shocks they should be matched to your spring rate, so if you lower your car chances are your spring rate will be higher and will need a shock according to this rate. Shock selection will drastically improve/impede you handling performance. You have a couple of options- stick with standard which is the cheapest but probably not the best option, next would be to get a set of sports shortened shocks and fit them which will be noticably better but still not the best option, and lastly would be a fully adjustable shock like koni's, but expect to pay a fortune for these. It would be a good idea to go and speak to a reputable sespension shop and get thier advice to match the shocks to the springs you are planning on fitting

car looks great with superlows and new shocks only thing is rear looks lower than the front

i dont know how true it is but ive heard on falcons if you cut springs and go over a big dip , the spring can pop out of the mounting....
