| Can anyone enlighten me on how to replace the brake light switch under the pedal in an AU, thanks. |

disconnect the plug from the switch.
take out the yellow snap spring clip.
take out the washer you'll see it, just pull the switch towards the drivers door if it doesn't come out.
then pull the switch towards the drivers door and it will just fall out.
put the new one in and do every thin in reverse.
p.s. i recomend you get a ford one its alot dearer than the $10 repco one but it is of far better quality and last alot longer. |

pfft the ford one it may be better quality but is 5 times the price
i doubt it will last 5 times as long |

My ford brought one lasted about 4months, the one i got from autobarn is going on 12months, i cant see it being worth the extra money by any stretch of the imagination!  |

Thanks gentlemen. I replaced it with a non-genuine one $7.99.
The original ford one lasted 5 and a half months. |
