OK, i wanna change the oil over in the fbt, having an EL XR8 LSD 3.45 I was wondering what would be the best or better products/brands to use?
Im new to changing oil in the diff (will be 1st time) so gimme the run down on what oils are good and whats not..
The cars done about 95,000kms now  |

good old diff oil, you cant get that smell out of your clothes for weeks! |

| just putting some oil in my LSD 3:45 this mornin... and im goin with just some castrol LSd oil.... alot cheaper than redline... and apparently just as good.... but if u want purely the best then just spend the dollars on the redline oil. its ment to have better cooling properties and so on... |

Where can I get some of this redline LSD oil?
Any idea on how much is needed or what it costs?
I take it you got bathed in oil nicko last time u did it lol!?  |

Some expensive stuff... most of their gear oils $100+ for 3.8L (US Gallon)... or *cough* $1500 for 60L drum!

pfft redline get some PENRITE 80-140 limslip oil!
this is SUPER thick and blue works f**k awesome took over 15 mins for me to squeeze the pil through a tube into the diff
you will only need about 1.5litres |

I think ill try this penrite stuff - thicker = good yer?  |
