After reading a few threads on how to get rid of the glue residue left over from debadging or removing stickers, I decided to write this simple thread.
REQUIRED
-------------
Oomph Glue Remover
2 Cloths
Bucket With Water
METHOD
----------
After prying off your badges, or removing a sticker, you will notice sticky residue left over which can be really tough to remove.
1. Get your bottle of Oomph Glue Remover, spray a couple of little squirts onto the sticky residue (make sure the nozzle is set to SPRAY).
2. Allow the spray to soak into the glue by waiting about 1 minute.
3. Get your cloth and wipe the residue away.
If any glue is left over, repeat the three steps again but let the substance soak into the glue a little longer.
4. Dunk a clean cloth into your bucket of water and thoroughly wipe your car where the Glue Remover had contact with.
DONE.
Enjoy your debadged car with 100% of the sticky residue removed.

Oomph Glue Remover is absolutely fantastic, this product took away the glue that remained after I removed the FALCON GLi badge, white stripe stickers and the 4.0i OHC stickers from the black moulding.
Oomph Glue Remover is located in your kitchen cleaning product section at your local Safeway/Woolworths supermarket (I don't think it is found anywhere else but I could be wrong). It's in a smallish 250mL bottle and it is about $5 (between $4 and $7...not 100% sure)

| Give it a try mate. For $5 you cant go wrong lol. If its gluey/sticky residue, this will remove it! |

| Guys i use this product and its absolutely brilliant. Ive got a bottle, and ive used it alot, and the bottle is still over 3/4 full. So it goes a long way. And smells good too. |

id like to add something to this. When i debaged my ute, i had glue that had gone hard and was almost impossible to remove. i used a carmel wheel. its like a rubber wheel(carmel colour) and u just put it into a cordless drill and away u go. this worked a treat. then just used the glue remover to clean the area up. jus thought id add that incase someone was in the same situation as me.

| heh, yea id be careful with this stuff. use it at work to get glue off shelving and it dosnt do ur fingers much good after rubbing it for an hour or so. to the point when i can only just feel them. id be trying it on a place that cant be see before just sprying it on |

| I debadged mine yesterday and i just used good old WD-40.Works heaps good.Just make sure u clean it all off afterwards. |

| learnt the hard way to be generous with the heat when taking off a badge, ripped a whole lot of the paint off when i was de-badging mine. |

NO NO NO NO NO!
ITS CALLED EUCALYPTUS OIL!
as long as you do not leave it on and you wash it off it works the best. Its better than oomph for sure. All you need is a small cloth and the oil and rub it off. Works a treat!!!!

| i jus used turps didnt scrub too hard and rinsed imediatly i removed my badges by prying a bit of ice cream container underneith and lifting how did u guys go about it? |

Actually its really quite s**t, we used it at work when we were renewing our pricing strips, and the glue was really hardcorly on the shelving on the friges, we tried hot water, then eucalyptus, and it did sweet f**k all. Then we used oomph and it came off VERY easily. Trust me we were aprehensive to use it as we thought, oh waste of time, but hell it worked. |

i removed the 4.0l dohc sticker from the side molds on my falcon and cleaned the glue off useing turps...
that worked fine for me... |

| Use fishing line just like you would floss ur teeth (if u had them?!). they come straight off and than some bug and tar gel. give him a quick polish and bobs ur aunty! |
