Hey all,
Debating whether to sell the mighty ford and get either a bike or a cheap run around as i am looking at purchasing some property.
I have a ef series one futura 5speed, 175 000ks, lowered with superlows and monroe shocks less then 5000kmls, 2.5inch straight through exhuast with pacemaker ph4488 extractors, 17inch bad boy rims less then 6 months old, custom cold air intake with k&n panel filter and tickford snorkle, colour coded interior, tinted windows, new brake pads and alpine stereo.
What you think it would be worth. |

| AFAIK EF Futura 5 speeds are rare, and the car has has some mods and the km's are not to high. My guess would be 7 to 9k from there you are entering fairmont and XR prices. |

You can get 140-180km EL Fairmonts for $8000 on the private market.
Unfortunately mods arent worth alot. I'd put it at $5000-$6500
Most falcons are sold and owned as family cars.. not many mums want to be driving a 5sp with a droning exhaust and s**t fuel economy |

i want prices like you guys have over here, i'd say you'd get up towards $9k for that thing, maybe more. esp since its a manual. my mate paid $6800 for a 100% stock EF 5-speed, in pretty ordinary condition... |

Ok this is what the i got as a"valuation" from cars guide site
| Quote: | Year 1995
Description EF SEDAN Futura 4dr Man 5sp 4.0i
Price range private sale* $3,800-$5,700
Price range trade in $2,800-$4,000
Average kilometres 160000-200000 kms
Price when new $31,465
* Important Note: Dealer's retail prices will be higher than these private sale prices because they must prepare a vehicle thoroughly, both mechanically and aesthetically, and they provide a warranty. |
Also should take into account that the valuation is a stock car in good condition. But i think if you get the right buyer they might want to fork out a bit more then what that says, |

the fuel ecconomy isnt that bad actually. I get around 500-550 aroundtown hitting about 3500rpm most of the time.
But on the highway i get nearly 700kms out of a tank.
Right guys thanks for the help. |

Prices for ef/el are cheap as in vic/nsw/qld!
In tassy or wa you could still pay 17-22k for a standard NL, i should go over there n sell my cars, make a tiny fortune lol! |
