Yeah, we are having troubles with the Image Processor for the docos.... (Very loooong story).
We should have something worked out by the end of the week, though its kind of hard to put an exact time with all the stuff that is happening lately....
I had placed about 8 Docos back up on the weekend, and there are another 6 or so almost ready to go back up.
You can tell if the doco is there by checking the docos Version Number.
V3.0 Docos have been checked for accuracy, and are up to date.
V1.0 Docos work, but I havent checked them to see if there is any info missing
V0.0 Docos are empty
Hope this helps |

Was it hard to do?? I have an EL Futura Classic and was told the plug is already there behind the clock. Is it as simple as just plugging it in and off I go?? |

Yeah, the globe is easy to replace.
ITs a 2 Watt wedge type.
The globe just pops out of its holder.
Or Alternatively you can get the globe and holder for less than $4 at Ford spare parts |

Not that hard at all. if you have a clock there even easier. you can use the existing wiring. if not you can spice the power and dimmer from cluster or the radio loom. |

right...my trip computer still sits in my glovebox awaiting my lazy body to install it...i might get this one done professionally i think....is it that hard?
i read xyphoids docos (great help thanks) but i really dont want to be messinga round witht ahtt sorta stuff cuz i aint that confident to do it yet. i just dont get the running of the wires. if someone could have the time to explain this in simple terms i would be very appreciative of it, although i dont expect it.
thanks. |

My Futura came withn its stock clock in that slot so my TC install was easy as.
Does a GLi have this little connector as well. If so, why? It doesnt run a stock clock or anything. |

The lack of clock was fords way of saving some money...
You will find that there are quite a few options that you can easily add to your car, that arent added because it saves the manufacturer money not to include them.
The trip computer is 1 good example.
The Low series cluster is another example.
A mid series cluster simply plugs in, apart from changing the oil pressure sensor.
It probably costs ford maybe 20 or so bucks to option the GLi and Futuras with a Mid series cluster, but for reasons to differentiate the models a bit, they choose not too ! |

yeah its a pity though - wouldn't cost much at all for all models to start on a much higher base than what the Gli's do! |
