sorre i thought i'd juss have a whinge since i went to ford to get some stuff fixed, and they said my front shocks are gone, wanted 1000 bucks to supply and fit a pair of shock absorbers to the front, sound ridicious huh? pedders offerd a set for 350 plus labour, y the hell is ford parts so expensive, espeacially for my truck

LOL, man coz they are is the answer, i too have gotten crazy prices, read:
1 x normal rotor for front of my car $512 for one, not pair, trust me!
1 x rear muffler for zorst was over $800, non fitted.
1 x gear shifter $575.

This is the point where i walk out in disgust; i mean i got slotted rotors from dba for the pair for like $500, muffler fixed properly for nothing thru mate, gear shifter (brand new) $310 thru wrecker..

Its insulting. icon_idea.gif

hell for 1 k you could get 4 new shocks and springs fitted from any decent suspension joint

and for ford rippign ppl off i said it before

$850 for EL thermo fans........

i must say that they gave me a good deal on my tyres, 170 a tyre, pretty good for 4x4 tyres

yeah if only they would give me free shockers, got the new ones in now from pedder, car feels awesome, ready for some big 4x4'n. only thing is the back saggs now since the stock suspension is still in da back, mite replace em and lower it soon, maybe before the geelong thing hopefully
