At the season opener at the Motorplex on Oct 21 I managed to improve the dragster slightly.
I managed to run my second quickest ET ever at 9.703 seconds (previous best was 9.697. My 60ft time was about average at 1.34.
On that pass I recorded my highest ever trap speed at 137.4mph (previous best was 135.5mph).
Now the only changes to the dragster from last season was new front and rear tyres. The rears are now 34.5x17x16 Hoosier's the old ones were 33.5x17x16 Hoosier's. The only other change was some more fiddling with the Carby. I pulled the blanking plate out of the rear metering block and fitted a power valve along with a notched float and jet extentions. |

The gixxer is 10 flat consistently, and with now over 200hp@wheel for a 170kg bike, it'll have no worries in the world running 9's.
Stato was basically stock when those times were recorded, just HSV headers (nothing special) and new exhaust. Still had 3.08 single spinner diff.
Skyline was manual, exhaust extractors i think and 3.7's.
FZR is definately stock cause its my bucket...
All the times were recorded at Heathcote, (Skyline may have been Calder) |

I think the term 'stock' is completely differnet between u and me. I dont doubt the stato's time but how can you say an exhaust is stock?
your mate must be an awesome rider to get a 10 flat out of a stock gixxer.. i have never seen that before.
That R31 must be a sleeper... or maybe vic drivers are just better.. :S |
