is there a way to tighten the bolts holding on the rear bar of an xf? mine is losse (can be shaken by hand) and the sub rattles it like a bastard... i cant see how to get at the nuts to tighten it up, if there is any???
any ideas?

im not sure if they're in the boot, i cant remember doing mine on my xf.
If not, they'll be underneath, shine a torch up there so you can see, and wiggle it around. |

yea, they're in the boot, remove the plastic panel thats behind the taillights, the left ones are either side of the wedge shaped block that goes from the boot floor to the taillight panel and is about an inch wide, you gotta pull the spare out to get at the drivers side ones... while you're at it, pull the bumper off for 5 mins and put some silicone around where the beaver panel meets its mounts and where it bolts onto the body, mine rattles like a mofo, so i wouldnt be suprised if yours does too
(the beaver panel is the steel panel underneath the back bumper) |

ok awesome,, i have pulled that plastic out looking,, must have assumed those bolts were for something else...
