A big congratulations to one of our members Glen Fuller (Dr Hoon) for getting his Interview with the Stockholm Getaway guys in the Autosalon Magazine! A whopping 9 pages to read!

Quote from AutoSalon Mag:

Quote:
"They've been on the run from Swedish police for five years. Their identities are hidden by monikers like Mr A or Mr X. We are of course, talking of the world's most infamous street racers, the ones responsible for the controversial Getaway in Stockholm series. Glen Fuller flew halfway around the world to infiltrate their underground society and bring you this world exclusive."

Good stuff Glen! Hope to see more of your Interviews and work around the place in the future and i suggest all of you have a read of it! Definately a must for any street race/crazed car fan..

Thanks pierre!

Yeah, I doubt very much there will be an opportunity for Mr A to ever give an interview like that again. So check it out, because if you are into Getaway in Stockholm there will not be another interview like it. I was just lucky I was in the right place (in Sweden, on exchange) doing the right sort of work (PhD on modified-car culture). Hopefully it will be turned into an academic paper; I am trying to get some interest from a Swedish academic who has written on Swedish car culture to write a joint paper.

Really mad DVD that one with the Ford Sierra Cosworth racing that Black Toyota Supra through Stockholm. Couldn't help but laugh at the Cops scrambling around on the other side of the road to trying to pursue them.

I've seen one of the Mischief DVD's but haven't seen the Getaway in Stockholm stuff. In fact I'd not come across it at all! I'd definetly be keen to see a viewing of it Nick.
