|
|
Hey guys,
I was just wondering where the best place in Melbourne is to get a straight gas reserach system put into my ef Fairmont 4.0L. Also approxiamtely how much have you guys payed?
I dont really want to do duel fuel as I want to try get the optimum performance out of the Gas as I will be doing a manual conversion soon.
Any help is appreciated and preferably in Sth Eastern suburbs
Cheers,

The supposed "gurru" of Gas Research is Terry @ Smithy's in Boronia.
There are a few other places, but him I trust the most. He is always busy though. |

| You can actually use dual fuel fine with GRA, because they use a throttle body setup. |

Yeah, I've had issues with Swift. GRA is now in Perth somewhere.
IMHO Smithys in Boronia is the best, but you gotta book weeks ahead, as he is always flat out. I used to do a lot of deliveries to Smithys for an autogas supply company. |

Lakeside Automotive in Reservoir is gaining a good reputation with GRA products.
Personally i would just buy the parts and fit it yourself. I have lost track of how many i've done.
About $3k is reputed to be the going rate. |
