Hey, yeah that would be my car. Its just got the extractors & 2.5"exhaust. Now the crow cam (2222519) is in, runs ok on petrol but idle's very low, but on LPG it has a low idle is constantly backfiring and blowing the crap out of my intake pipe/airbox (its currently held together by tape!) Any help would be great!

youdd need to get your gas system tuned, what sort of gas system are you running because some are easy to tune yourself.

ive had two cams in my car now and neither hae had an issue with gas, just needed slight tune tweeking to work without stalling.

Just had a look, its a GASTEC FP30.

Here's a few pics, hope they can help!

I've also noticed it idle's rather rough/stalls on petrol at times also, could that have anything to do with the problem?

Thanks again, Sam

With a lower vacuum on idle, etc you are not getting enough fuel to flow. It is definitely a fuel problem if it happened when changing cams. If you know which is your idle bypass on the LPG converter I would open it up 1/8th of a turn at a time. The idle bypass is normally quite sensitive so only do small movements.

Then go and get it tuned properly.

cheers

You can use that processor to tune it spot on, it's a shame it's mounted in the engine bay, i have a plug in job so i can get the mixtures right as i drive it.
Check the LPG tuning thread, you'll see pics i've put in there of the std power valve and stepper motor setup, to get it right that needs to be adjusted, i'd say you're definately running too lean.
