If you're looking to go to the Motorplex have a look at their web site. They list what helmet ratings they require on there.
go to www.motorplex.com.au |

Well ...I'm no longer a drag (or burnout) virgin
After paying 4 trips down to the Kwinana Motorplex ...I've gone from 15-16 sec times, to a PB of 14.73 which I pulled this past WED.
My 60ft times have dropped from 2.55 to 2.14 secs, terminal speed 153 Kph ...with room for more
What's worked for me:
Stock rims at 20 psi,
Stalled up to 3000 rpm on the line,
Slipped (not dropped) the clutch on launch,
Took revs out to 5500-5600 rpm between changes,
Hammered 3rd all the way to the line (easy enough with the DEV 5 cam)
I'm hoping for 14.5's on my next trip down |

well done!
I take it you have an LSD?
My pb so far on stock set-up is a 15.852.
since putting an exhaust on the car and taking my traction aiding gas tank out, I can only get near 15.87 as I got clutch slippage last time
mines putting out 131.02 kw @ the wheels.
cheers Sambo |

HAHA ...I think he was referring to himself mate ...an 'a**-miner' LOL
Yeah, that was my last run of the night ...and unfortunately I was up against an 11.38 sec charged Valiant, which took the shine off a little ...but far superior competition can sometimes pull the best out of you
That'll be the 1st and last season the DEVEL does with me ...but next season I may well be giving that Valiant a scare! |

That's the one, owned and modded by the driver ...spent only $15,000 to hit 11's ...did the paintjob himself too
Could be a good match next season ...2 blown purple cars head-to-head |
