With 30 days to go thi sis how the F1 2005 Season is shaping up to be!

2005 Regulations have become more stringent mainly in regards to aerodynamics and the engine has to be used for two race weekends resulting in many teams releasing new cars to comply

Mclaren have released there new car mp4-20

and have announced both Drivers being Raikonnen and Montoya, with a powerfull car they look set to take it this year (provided durability issues have been fixed)

Renault also released a new car the R25 and the new v10 RS25. 98% of the parts in the engine are all new, complying to all the new regulations this year - the two weekend policy still applies!! With Spaniard Fernando Alonso and Italian Giancarlo Fisichella they are aiming to take out the championship! pictures of the new car are here

Toyota also released a new car the TF105 with changes to the front wing, rear wing and diffuser the most noteworthy. Driving for them this year is Ralf Schumacher (jumping from williams) and Jano Trulli

Williams launched there new team for 2005 a couple of days ago and have two new main drivers ( Mark Webber & Nick Heidfield) and a new car the FW27. To meet the new regulations the front wing has been lifted 50mm and the rear wing moved 150mm to the front, the diffuser height has also been restricted and they have not changed the current engine!

Jaguar after pulling out from F1 have been bought By Red Bull and now race under the Name Red Bull Racing. They have signed David Coulthard and will announce there 2nd driver within the week, expected to be either Christian Klien or Vitantonio Liuzzi. No news on any developments with the car as yet and Red Bull Are still sourcing more sponsors

Sauber have Villenueve and Massa as there two drivers and new car the C25. using the ferrari v10 but have ditched the Ferrari gearbox and gone to its own, making it lighter and more compact

Ferrari remain unchanged with Michael Schumacher and Barrichello - i suppose its a case of dont fix it if it aint broken! they are scheduled to release the new model in May

Jordan - are yet to announce any news regarding its drivers - till this time they still have not confirmed a driver for there season which is only 30 days away!

I can't wait to see Red Bull Racing... It sounds like it should be a Indy/Champ car not a F1....

lol would love to but noo won't get there, so tv will have to do! The cars are looking pretty good this year I reckon, very sleak and aero-efficient!
