Looking for a power steer cap for the v8. One of the tabs has broken off, and under pressure, sees a bit of pwr steer fluid spraying around
I beleive theyre the same from EB-EL.. maybe even AU. *shrug* |

It originally came out on the XD, noisy piece of s**t they were, and i remember going to the motor show when the EB V8 was released, i couldn't believe it when i seen one of those s**t pumps sitting on it. |

I thought the same, but I have one on the XD that is quiet as (when the XD was running ), seems if they every run out of oil and they develop that noise and they never come good, unlike the later XF onwards (Saginaw?) pump that could take a hiding. |

Yeah i p****d that plastic thing off long ago and fitted a Saginaw pump, those things are close to bullet proof.
But still if you compare the 2 pumps, the Saginaw wins by miles, i'd be more inclined to convert it. |
