our rear windows are rarely used and are keep child lock. however recently when using the real right it makes a crunching noise when going down and doesnt go completly up stop half way.
Is their an easy fix or is it a big $$$ job????

Im pretty sure its an alignment issue, and WD40/RP47 has been known to fix this problem... down side is you have to take the door apart...
I had the same problem, same window lol. I just left it, and the more I used, the less aparent it got, still makes the noises, but it goes up and down all the way.

Sounds like the regulator might be gone? If so, a new one is I think roughly a bit over $100.
Before you worry about that though, it could just be some dirt or something stuck in the runners. Grab a can of silicone spray and give the runners down each side a good spray. |

| Crunching sound is the gears in the regulator rubbing against eachother and wearing down the teeth due to a restriction somewhere.. Do as what has been previously afforementioned. |

| silicon sray is the best, u can get it from any auto shop or window shop, they use it to lubricate window runners!! |
