Hey peoples,
If buying a EL XR front do you need to change the bonnet, and if so will it fit in perfect or do you need to make changes anywhere else.

| yeh, you'll need an EF GLi or EF/EL XR Bonnet. |

Can get hold of an EF XR6 bonnet if needed . |

does that include lights indicators front bar? if so YES! even for the front bar alone, thats a pretty good price.
as for the bonnet - if you've got an EF Gli/Futura/XR you can keep your bonnet, or if you have an EL Gli/Futura/Fairmont or EF Fairmont, you'll need to change bonnet  |

The bars alone are about $800 from ford, new.
on the 2nd hand market theyre worth around $400-500.
Then you'll need lights, which are around $1000 new from ford.. about half that 2nd hand.
Then the bonnet is another story  |

i managed to score my entire EL XR front end, w/ bar lights & indicators for $600! that included painting as well!  |

Go there and they have EL XR front lights for $340 each. Save $300.
They are out of stock at the moment but can order it in for you.
They dont have the front bar unfortunately.

azza put me onto the guy - he got the 3.45 LSD for $300. he knew how much the s**t was worth, but just wanted to get rid of it - for that price i couldn't turn it down, and its the best thing i've bought for the car! the spraying i got done for nothing, as i friendly with the panelbeater, and i gave him my old bumper and indicators and a few other parts he needed in exchange for the spraying |
