there is extra wiring involved. the xr lights use a single bulb in each light.the outbord ones are low beam only and the inbord ones are high beam only. if you wire them up i bet when you hit high beam the outbord lights go out.they have to be wired so they stay on.
the twinlights (after market) plug n play. |

headlaghts and grille ect will bolt straight on. you will need to change the bonnet lock aswell as the lever is in a different position so you can open it through the grille. and yes you do need to do a bit of wiring to get the low beam to stay on.
we have a complete set up with new genuine flashers for $1000 |

you can buy parts from twinlight. and as for getting what you pay for the ford lights are like candles compared to the twinlight ones.
how do i know this?? because i have an ED with XR lights and a EB with twilights. the ford ones do look better though. |

I've also got both, and the Tickford setup looks so much better. I also beleive the light from the tickford setup is better... they're the same lights found in the EF/EL XR's... very sharp light. |
