Naturally aspirated id be thinking mid 14s?

The EF was 170rwkw but with the torque of the blower... ran 14 flats according to several runs on gtech.

Only one way to find out!!!

I reckon with the 3.7s and a genuine 170rwkw you'd have to be around the 14 flat mark.
That's a very good result if it's a dyno that usually spits out 150 odd rwkw for other branded 170kw cars (ie JMM Dev5s and IT's stage 4/5s)

The real question is, what have you done to get the extra power?! Surely not all from tuning ?

Hi Hyena. Its been a while .Hope your going good.
With the same dyno 147 rwkw figure I had a dev 4 cam ,jmm extractors,2.5 / 3inch exhaust ,edit tune,3.73 diff single spinner and 2500 stall converter.

Since that time as I mentoned I bought a head and ported it for 11 months from a book. I got it shaved for more compression and had new guides in it.From memory it had a big improvement in flow at higher lifts.

To take advantage of the higher lift flow I bought a higher lift cam.I did not want a regrind cam.A billet has less hassle to install. In it all went. Untuned it put out 161 rwkws but was running disgustingly rich. The edit fixed those issues and the final figure was 170.1

EF Jase has more power than mine on Joes dyno .In saying that a timeslip ultimately makes for a more comparable result but they have done really well and should be proud of their efforts. At the moment the car is in progress with an s5 solenoid letting go in the auto transmission.I will fix it next week. There are some experimental mods on the way but it seems those last few killowatts are at a high price. Some people seem to think I am doing it to show but I am passionate about this hobby and doing it for myself . I t gets to the stage where I simply dont listen anymore and do more research then move on.Its good fun..hope it runs good..

if you can pull 170 rwkw on joes dyno you have one beast of a car! and you will definately be giving 13s a shake!

I wont pull 170 rwkws on Joes dyno.I wish it would but nope. Still from the beginning I have stuck to one dyno to keep logs of improvements. For this sake its pretty accurate.

Your 14.6 is an awesome time. What mph did you run? This is the ultimate dyno and proving ground at the track.

I know that your car can run a 14.5 .This is a perfect run though with everything 100%.

Until I see my mph I am not sure where ill be.

i'll buy in here as well and say if you have a perfect run you could crack into the 13's, but more than likely a low 14. power is good but gearing is also a major factor and those 3.7's will be a fair advantage, unless of course they are still an open wheeler.

i have 3.9's in mine and 160rwkw but due to the fact s.a. does not have a drag facility i don't know what it does, but i've never been beaten by a stock or near stock gen3. i would hazzard a guess that the gearing would give me upwards of .3 over the 1/4.

160rwkw v8 and 160 rwkw i6 could sound similair in power but torque would be greater in the v8.. nice engine combo btw prydey.. icon_wink.gif sounds like she performs well... icon_wink.gif
