Found a vid on YouTube that im very skeptical about and have posted this in the trackside section cause im curious what 1/4 mile it could run based on the vid and see if its unrealistic. My guess is either he's sped the video up, or most probably ran the car down a steep hill.... idiot!!!
For instance he does 0-130km/h in 9 secs which is fukin fast, considering in Fordfreaks latest 14.3 effort at 660ft he was doing 121km/h in 9.2 secs.
Give this Youtuber heaps of s**t cause his description reckons his Aurion is faster than a "Bombadore" and "Bord" !!!!
why would it be fake. looks pretty legit to me man...

i've been in an aurion before and when he booted it, I was very dissapointed. I think that 200kw is all computer locked to keep front wheel traction. vid is definately not the same as when I was in one.
That doesn't really look that quick on the video.
I'm only running a 13.9, and there's no way in hell that Aurion's speedo needle moves as quick as i've seen mine do. I thought stock Aurion's would only pull a flat 15 quarter or thereabouts.

Yeah ive heard that before too, but it aint gonna make it do 0-130km/h in 9 secs like is shown in the vid. With that sort of time he was looking at a flat 14 or even high 13, dont think so
My bet is theyve found a very steep hill and run it down there, i'll try and do the same and post a link up of my 5 sec falcon
Second thoughts, im sure hes sped up the video footage, you can hear the high pitch of the motor that its been sped up, and also the handshaking of the camera is sped up....

"Video Downloader" addon for firefox to save the file, then "Riva flv Encoder" to convert to mpg, then "Windows Movie Maker" with custom scripts downloaded off the net for speed effects...
i reckon its legit. no where does it say its stock and i timed it closer to 6.5 to 100kph. there is another vid on there of a aurion doing 0-200kph and i looked at that one as well and timed it and it seemed to be sub 7 second to 100. if you load up the original vid and then look through the list to the right you will find it. if you follow the trip meter in the middle of the cluster you can get a rough 1/4 time which i timed at approx 15.3 (was also around 10sec to 130) which is not a lot slower than original vid. if we can edit our falcons, who's to say toyota don't have the same aftermarket market.
