| how do u change a cam in a 250 cross flow? it is a cortina. the head is off atm... |

you'll need the engine out or the radiator and grille out. need to pull the timing cover off, undo the retainer bolts and slide the cam fowards out of the engine.
the lifters will need to be out and if you're changing the cam it would pay to change all the lifters too or there's a fairt chance you'll have issues with rooted lifters chopping out the cam lobes. |
