My stage 3 again delivers more torque & hp from your i6, with the stg 3 cam it give you a nice lope at, idle sounds great with a good exhaust mod what you get is....
fully serviced head
heavy duty valve springs
over size exhaust valves
minor port work
reground stg 3 cam & shims
new vernier cam gear
total $1690.00 plus P&H (on an exchange basis) or $150.00 core deposit will apply.
Again this package is ECU freindly...... very impressive with a manual.
thanks
Joe

| Also ive read from a post here that the stage 3 cam needs the timing changed to run properly..... is that the case? |

NO...............the 3 dosn't need the timing changed to run propley the factory ignition map is fine.....but if you have a dizzy set up then you have the luxury of adding a few degrees of extra base, where the guy's that run coil packs can't for now ??...... I have both the 2 & 3 cams out there in dizzy & coil pack set ups & eveyone is still running there factory ECU'S & factory ignitions.
I know they work as I have proven dyno & track figures to back them up, which is more than what other products claimed.... obviously there is one in question but I am working with him in resolving his problem.
thanks
Joe. |

IMO...... I think that you will see a better resault in a EB & D than a EF using the stage 3 set up for 2 reasons, the first thing is, I think IMO the log manifold works better than the BB & the fact that you have a dizzy to play with, again we are talking about using our FACTORY ECU's ...which is why I made these cams.
I did a stg2 package for an ED (manual) a few years ago & we got 140ish rwkw we also did a stg2 for an EF (new auto with a 2700 stallie) last year & we got 140rwkw, now if the BB is suppost to be the better manifold, so people claim, there should have been a difference in the two....... oh , & the D had more km's on the clock as well.
thanks

I can do a 3 for the hybird but, I'll be honest with you I only sold 2x stage 2 cams for the hydbrid & they work well with the factoy ECU.... but I dont know how a 3 cam will go with that ECU, as it is a more agressive profile.....also the 3 does works in eveything else, I'm not sure how it will go in a hybird motor ?? as with the AU cams you must run an edit ,chip or a piggy back of some sort....but if your willing to give it a go then I'm more that happy to do one for you.
thanks

| Guys just wanted to put my 2 cents worth in im quite sure there is no difference in the ecu of an el hybrid to a normal one as far as im aware the head is the only difference but i just want to say that look as far as im concerned this is THE BEST package around to suit the e series alot of time research and experience has gone into developing these i should know i was a tester for most of the cams and look at the torque my car has now and thats still a stage 3 cam |

Ok, the stage 3 package is $1690.00 or ($1795 for AU & hybird ) plus $95 return delivery exchange, but if yours is a EL hybird I don't know how the stage 3 cam will perform as I havn't sold a 3 cam to anyone with a hybird motor, but I have sold the stage 2 cams to guys & so far so good & thats being honest with you, or if you have a hybird you have to run a chip or a piggy back of some sort as do the AU's
I would rather do yours up to save on deposits or I will have to charge extra then credit the deposits....
thanks

| Would it be easier just to use a EL head then screwing around with my AU/hybrid head? Because the EL Hybrid have the same ECU as the normal EL |
