How do you find the slight shade difference in person? |
the colour difference isnt to bad..
ive now put el kick panels and scuff plates and the plastic pillar cover..
so the grey blends in well now..

Hey Troyman
Do the EF/EL kick panels fit ok? I was told that they are shorter than the EA-ED ones.

That looks great.
How is the handbreak mounted? I note that you are using a bench seat and a column shift auto, so then ford must have used a dash mounted handbreak in the ef/el as well?
The handbreak problem is probably the only thing holding me back from seriously looking at the dash mod.

almost the case the fit on like a glove just need to ajust a few things is all, i seen Benj's door trims and they look great and suit the car better than they do the car they were made for.

Thanks for that.
So the taxi pack ef/el cars had a floor hand/footbrake setup.
Was it easy to adapt to the EB setup?
It would seem then that the best option would be to source a dash from a taxi, or at least the foot pedal components.

wow.. it looks good
i can see myself getting snowballed with this mod..
i know the dash will fit in but i still need to decide whether to change the whole loom to el or just patch the el dash loom into the ea one????? and i dont know what to do with the handbrake.???
or i can go that bit further and modify the floor to use the el handbrake(rather not) just yet...
so i may look at the pedal type handbrake??
also i dont know how or if the eb console will even fit or look right with the el dash....
so you can NOW see the snowball effect happening
