I thought I might list a few points which can help when making enquiries.
Firstly, descriptions.
The thing that goes on the front of a car is called an air dam or front spoiler. This attaches to the existing bar. Many young people don't seem to be able to differentiate between this and a bar.
A bar is the complete assembly, when we're talking about cars which have a full plastic front, as distinct from when cars had steel bumper bars and separate stone trays. Plastic full bars started with the XD, on Falcons.
I frequently get enquiries asking for the price on a "bar", when what they really mean is an air dam.
Likewise, at the back, a rear skirt is the thing that fits to the rear bar. Some people refer to rear skirts when they're really talking about the thing that sits on the bootlid. Women wear skirts from their waist down, not over their b**bs (unless there's been a change in fashions that I haven't heard about!). Cars are the same....
The thing that sits on the bootlid or hatch is a rear spoiler, bobtail or wing.
Thw eing sits on legs. a bobtail is a flush fitting spoiler, with no gaps (like the EA-ED XR rear spoiler)
Secondly, freight.
Many enquirers use the term "post". Australia Post ships letters and small parcels. They don't ship body kits. They're far too big. Except for items like bonnet vents etc., I can't use Aust Post.
I have to use road carriers. These people calculate freight rates by volume, rather than actual weight. Rates between capital cities is pretty economical. Once you start going to country areas, it increases quite dramatically. When someone asks for "freight to Queensland", for instance, I can assure you it costs a hell of a lot more to ship to, say, Mt Isa, than it does to Brisbane. The country area freight rates are calculated in radial zones from the capital city, measured in kilometers, eg, 0-100, 100-250 etc.
If you want a hassle-free freight quote, I need you to tell me the town or city it's going to and, if in the country, how many km it is from the capital.Postcodes are as useful as an ashtray on a motor bike, to paraphrase d**k Johnson.
If you follow these few hints, there's a much greater chance of me answering your enquiries first up, without having to come back to you for more info.
And finally, please remember I don't know your car as well as you do. Please give exact model details.

G'Day Bob,
I bought a EB GT rear bar off you a few months back - not sure if you remember, but im now (finally) looking at getting the front bar (not the XR style). Just wondering on how much. Im in Sydney, but if need be i have a cousin in Canberra who could pick it up for me.

Hi Bob, just wondering how much it would cost for XR body kit for a 95 EF fairmont? Looking at side skirts, rear spoiler, rear skirt and front lip.
