Yeah that was me. Then looked at the dyno graph and it gave me the answer. The power of the edit button. icon_biggrin.gif
My auto's not to far behind a stockish manual then.

What size MAF are you running at the moment? 75mm? Are you using your standard MAF electronics? Pretty decent dyno figure as it is. I guess being a 5 speed helps a bit.

I went down to the Motorplex tonight and was fortunate to get one run in. f**k rain!

I went there hoping to run a 14 and I did straight out with a 14.918@150.39kph. Had a s**t start and need to work out gear changes so will hopefully get a 14.5 next week. Everyone there tonight gets in next week at no charge. Sweet!

Cheers mate, now my goal is 14.5. I think that's achievable by knocking 2 10ths off the 60' time. Only 6 more sleeps! LoL

After another appearance at this weeks WAW, I think my base time will be having to stay at 14.9. I think my clutch is slipping a bit off the line. At the end of the night I got a few runs in quick concession and my 60 footers were getting worse and worse... the engine was revving but the car wasn't launching for what felt like an eternity. I initially thought it must've been a bit of wheelspin, but after talking to Gregg, who was watching, he said there didn't appear to be any wheelspin what-so-ever.

On a brighter note, I got a call yesterday to say that all my stuff has landed and should be ready to pick up on Monday. Pretty quick I reckon, considering they only shipped it out last Friday. When I pick it up I'll pull it all out and get some happy snaps then run it all up to BPT and see if they can squeeze me in now! LoL Nah, I'll wait my turn. But will probably organise a few other bits and pieces with them like the clutch, upgrade the ignition and fuel delivery.

I have a busy couple of weeks at work, so time should fly and the big girl will be in the shop before I know it.

I haven't any clue mate. I haven't researched it one little bit. Maybe if anyone has any suggestions? I'll be discussing it with Terry at the workshop and see what he suggests. Same with the ignition. If anyone can recommend anything or wants to warn me to stay away from something, please let me know. icon_smile.gif

On the second page there is some good equations to work out your fuel needs.

Walbro 255 will meet your fuel requirements with ease... These appear on Ebay from time to time at a very competitive price.

Speak to Jeff, he obtained and fitted one in the ute prior to his tune.

Ah good to hear its all arrived in oz Chad. Be sure to post up some happy snaps when it all arrives.

As far as fuel delivery goes, as BOTTLEDUP said a Walbro 255 in tank pump will well and truly meet the requirements. I am running one on mine that i picked up off e-bay for under $150 to my door. Other than that you may want to consider an Adjustable pressure reg, i have one here for mine that i havent got around to fitting yet, but will be once the new t/b arrives. 24lb injectors should be fine, if you get a set from an AU just remember you'll need the adapter flyleads, these are available from BPT and are around the $100 mark, i am also using these on mine. I've also got myself a nice little fuel pressure guage that i'll be tapping into the fuel rail, makes using the AFPR a bit easier.

As far as ignition goes, i'm using the std Dizzy with an MSD direct replacement cap, MSD blaster coil, Top-gun 8mm LPG leads(will probly upgrade to some nice MSD leads shortly), NGK plugs gapped to 1.1mm, BPT TFI module, and a new rotor button for added insurance. Something along the lines of this will be fine mate, just make sure everything is new like the rotor button, cap, leads and plugs and you shouldnt have an issue.

Cheers for that guys.

I got some 10mm leads from BPT not long ago and the plugs are pretty new too, although will probably need to be re-gapped. I'll have to start looking on ebay. Out of interest, what would one of those fuel pumps set you back from the shop?

Mate for the amount of money your gonna be spending i'd be throwing a new set of plugs at it, only $32.
