They're iridium... only done 10,000ks... I shouldn't even have to think about replacing them for a long while. They'll be looked at tho. When it goes in I'll probably end up geting new ones

The fuel pump. Is the model number GSS342 by any chance? That one is good for 255l/hr or 265, depending on whose site you read...

Cheers for that guys.

I got some 10mm leads from BPT not long ago and the plugs are pretty new too, although will probably need to be re-gapped. I'll have to start looking on ebay. Out of interest, what would one of those fuel pumps set you back from the shop?

I just had all my ignition replaced at BPT. Screamin demon coil, live wire leads, Dynamod ignition module and new dizzy cap and rotor assembly.

Much larger gap in the plugs as there is alot more grunt and Dwell as well, although for the money I could've gotten a complete MSD or Crane setup.

Yeah mate, either the GSS-341 or 342, both will be fine.

Cool, will order one in the next couple of days. One problem solvered.

I'm getting the ford racing injectors - FMS-M-9593-A302. Should they be a straight fit, or am I going to need to f@rt around with adaptors like with AU injectors?

They are EV1 style injectors which should plug straight into your harness. EV6's look alot slimmer than the fatter EV1's.

Haha, very true, either way it could have been sorted, BPT usually keep the injector flyleads in stock.

Actually, I had it hiding behind the bins, I hope the gf hasn't ditched it! Why that?

Is it just the housing or the electronics aswell?

I have a mate with an EL XR8 and his MAF sensor hotwires are buggered causing a surging issue, we are currently chasing a cheap replacement.

And a bit more...

I'm happy with everything except for the end of the lower intake. There are 2 considerable gouges out of there as you can see by the pics. This is not meant to be like this is it? The way they are look as though they could possibly be like that for a reason so something can fit in there, but I wouldn't have a clue what. I don't even know what's back and what's front! Hahaha

What do you think is with the chunk taken out of the lower manifold? Without walking out to the shed to have a look how close they are icon_lol.gif , could they possible be for clearance of fuel lines across the front???

I was thinking maybe for something along those lines... But like I said, I don't even know the front from the back. And I don't even know what it looks like under the upper on these motors. I'm not overly mechanical and don't dare start pulling s**t apart! Hahaha

I was going to give them a call tonight but can't be a***.
