Probably a fitting time to pay tribute to Mark Porter who lost his life due to an accident at Bathurst Last Year
For those dont remember the tragic event during Bathurst Practice Last Year

RIP mark porter.
i remember watching that crash and it really didnt look too bad at first, but then when his car turned around and you saw the huge dent in the drivers side, sends chills down your spine |

RIP Mark Porter,
i was up the top of the mountain about 50 metres from where it happened and it was as nasty.
It was unfortunate he passed away on one of the worlds greatest racetracks! |

so did i and i had some more thaughts bout it when i saw bright, ingal, skaife and the second 888 car get in trouble on top of the hill in that last lot of crashes.

I was thinking more along the lines of the crash that caused the pack of a***hole speech back in 92 when they were all starting to tag the wall in the same spot.
But yeah, poor mark was a sitting duck in that crash. I never knew who he was untill that crash but it always makes you think when people in a any form of motorsport lose their lives. |
