you may have to run a rear muffer as well as we did but the quality of the muffer makes a difference as well..

I know for a fact that my 3 out performs the dev 3 & 5 but inregards to the 1673....... theres no one around here that wants to run the cars that we set up so I got no one else to compair it to exept dyno figures which if you look at ther profile in the stable section you will get an idea...yes you do need to run a gear to dial the correct setting.
thanks

Joe that wade cam that was in mine before your stage was the 1673, your stage 2 did more for mine than that cam. |

I am interested in this cam but I have a few questions.
What kind of valve springs would I need to run this cam? single? double? And is there a particular brand that you recommend?
Also how would I exchange a cam with you from Melbourne? I send mine up to you first or vice versa?
How much would postage be to Melbourne, 3187?
Sorry for all the questions. |

Hey im just wondering if this would be the best cam for my car?
I am currently putting together a Au engine rebuild, and will soon be looking for a cam.(either from you, camtech, crow or wade)
I want the biggest one possible on standard computer. The engine will be going into a EL futura along with a 5 speed conversion. I have full exhaust already and the head has a lot of work done to it so breathing mods are there already.
I want it to be lumpy, and power from about 2500 until redline if possible (I don't want it to be a slug under 2500 either for daily driving)
Which cam do you recommend? |

my stage 3 cam is perfect for what you want will still run with the factory E series Ecu with a nice lope at idle power will start around 2800rpm & pull till rev cut.......one thing to remember with big cams, the profile of the cam changes the operating range for it to work in & dialing it different can help but it will alter the output ......
what comp ratio are you aiming for ??

Hi,
93 ED XR6 Auto, 330,000 on the clock, head has been shaved a fraction, new valve stem seals etc.
car has extractors, CAI, and a 2.5" exhaust.
what sort of power would i be looking at with the stage 2 & 3 cam? and would it run ok with the stock ECU and standard converter?
has 3.45 gears in the a** at the moment, thinking about chucking a set of 3.7/9s in, sick to death of winding first out at 75-80k (hits the limiter round there i think). needs to hit 5300rpm around 60ish K.
how do your cams compare to the wade 1673 performance wise? and economy wise too?
cheers mate |

you need to upgrade the head to run the 3 you can run the 2 on the std head but I would suggest on some minor work to get the benifits from the cam & yes both will run with the std ECU's
To compair my cam to wades ??? as the guy's that are running my gear & they will tell you
