Had that problem with my EF Fairmont about 6mts ago turned out to be the Cam Angle Sensor should run a self diagnosis test could be something simple. Also try removing the ISC Solenoid and clean out with CRC there was a artical on FM1 about cleaning the ISC.

To the left of your air intake is a small unit known as the idle mixer something like that, it has either 2 or 4 bolts holding it on its situated on or next to the throttle body if you remove it and the plug holding it there and spray it out with crc it should help a bit by loosening up the spring and then of course put it back... lol need more, i'll try and remember what i said last time...

MAX: My Cam Angle Sensor is shagged too. How much did it cost to replace? You do it yourself or take it into a mechanic?
